About the course

This qualification is designed for learners seeking the skills and knowledge needed to develop a business start-up. It will give learners an understanding of the initial processes and requirements of a business start-up, knowledge of the first steps in creating a business start-up, including the marketing, legal and financial requirements, and an understanding of how to write a business plan.

Assessment

On this course, you will be regularly assessed and will complete questions to demonstrate your acquired knowledge and skills. Knowledge questions are issued as the formal assessment for each unit and will be completed through your online learning platform. For each unit, clear deadlines are provided to ensure timely completion of your course. You will receive feedback on each unit from your expert tutor, and you will need to pass all 4 units of the course and ensure your answers to the questions meet the required assessment criteria. 

Careers & Progression

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to further level 2 or level 3 qualifications in areas where business skills are of importance.
