About the course
This beginners course will allow you to expand your photographic, digital editing skills and techniques by completing set tasks weekly. These include camera parts, shutter speeds, aperture, ISO, exposure triangle, risk assessments, formal elements and genres. You will be introduced to lightroom and photoshop, legal and ethical considerations and preparing your images for printing. This course will enable you to advance your own creative practical skills by producing and editing your own photographs. If you enjoy this course you can progress on to the intermediate level, which will then lead through to advanced if you would like to push yourself even further. You can also choose to just stay at this level and enjoy learning a new skill.
This course is assessed throughout the course but no coursework will be present as this is a practical, skill building course designed to increase you ability in this area. Each week, tutors will let you know how your skill is developing and give you pointers to keep progressing. Our friendly team are here to help you build your knowledge and skill in the different aspects of photography listed in the course summary. Careers & Progression
Once you have successfully completed the Beginners course your progression would be Intermediate, Advanced. The nature of this course is to increase your ability in photography to support you interests or professional life in various fields.
