About the course

This hands-on course is intended for those students who want to produce photoreal 3D models using AutoDesk Fusion 360. You will develop your skills in Parametric Modelling in producing drawings designed to increase the user's ability in producing and showcasing models. The primary goal of Inventor is to focus on one of the most exciting areas of CAD - the creation of three dimensional drawings. This course is designed to meet the needs of a new generation of architects, mechanical designers and other design professionals who need to create 3D models. The course begins with creation of wireframe models, and evolves into complex creation of solid models in later units. You will also learn how prepare working drawings of your 3D models.

Careers & Progression

This course will prepare you for progression to a Level 2 course in 3D Solid Modelling which will build on the skills gained you have learned on this course. You will learn to use more advanced features and functions which will enable creation of complex solid models. Successful completion of this course and further study, will enhance your employability skills in a technical engineering role.
