The course will provide students the opportunity to learn more about a range of topics including; Roles, responsibilities and professionalism, professional boundaries, communication, anatomy, physiology, pathology and disease along with measuring health and wellbeing. Study skills, such as academic writing and accessing research, are an integral aspect of the course in order to provide students with the foundations needed for further study. Assessment

This course will be assessed using a combination of methods including portfolio building, academic essays, presentations, exams and information leaflets.
