Burnley to the Charts: Aspiring Singer Launches Debut Single

19-year-old Burnley College alumna, Rebecca Spooner, has released her first ever single “All My Mates Are Sad”.
Rebecca is at the beginning of an incredible journey, transforming her passion into a rewarding career and it all started with Burnley College!
“The support you get at Burnley College is incredible. You’re given so much freedom too – you get to be you. They treat you like adults and you learn the way you want to.”
After studying A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Music Technology, Rebecca achieved an incredible three A*s in her A Levels and a Distinction* in Music Technology. Music is just one of Rebecca’s many talents as she is also a keen actor and took part in multiple drama performances at Burnley College. Rebecca values performance and sees herself working in that industry:
“I’m passionate about working in the world of music, either as a producer or as a performer, or maybe even a bit of both. Production is very creative. You start with nothing at all and can end up with something truly beautiful.”
