We are recruiting a Transition and Inclusion Coordinator to work with the Additional Learning Support Manager to ensure the College delivers a comprehensive additional learning support service. The role coordinates the transition of learners from schools to College, develops experiences to aid SEN learners settling into College life, and ensures a high-quality experience for students with high needs.
As Transition and Inclusion Coordinator, you will develop and maintain robust systems for accurate data, utilise Send Support Practitioners and pastoral mentors effectively, and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents/carers, schools and external agencies. You will make effective use of SEND data, ensure compliance with ESFA guidelines and the SEND Code of Practice, and support coordination of additional learning support resources to maximise staff skill sets and student outcomes.
The successful candidate will have good general education including GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, and hold or be working towards an appropriate special educational needs qualification. You will possess excellent communication, organisation and planning skills, high-level Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of EHCP processes and ALS data systems, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development within a collaborative college environment.
The salary for this post is up to £33,290
