Due to the continued growth and development of the Foundation Programme, we are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Programme Leader to promote and provide an outstanding learning experience that enables all students to achieve their full potential. The role will lead and develop a curriculum focused on employability, personal development, and progression, supporting students to successfully move into employment, further study, or Apprenticeships while ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
As Programme Leader, you will take responsibility for the successful leadership, administration and coordination of a substantial programme area, ensuring students are supported to achieve and progress. You will lead on the rigorous monitoring of attendance, achievement and retention, provide high-quality pastoral support, and work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously enhance the curriculum. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to key divisional priorities, including growing provision, improving outcomes and supporting the recruitment and admission of students.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience of delivering high-quality teaching and support within a Foundation setting. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong understanding of Foundation curriculum requirements, and a commitment to safeguarding, equality and continuous professional development. The salary for this post is up to £47,271
