We are seeking a Lecturer in Psychology to teach effectively on a range of programmes across the College Curriculum, who will have detailed knowledge of current AS/A Level and/or Higher Education Psychology specifications.
Your responsibilities will include promoting and providing an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students. You will thoroughly plan and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching, accurately assess and monitor student work, and provide effective tutorial and pastoral support. You will also maintain high quality records and provide timely information, contribute to curriculum development, and take an active part in the marketing operations of the College including the recruitment and admission of students.
The successful candidate will hold a Degree or equivalent level qualification in Psychology or a related subject/discipline. You will also possess or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification within a specified and agreed period (normally 2 years). Experience of teaching AS/A Level and/or Higher Education Psychology, and a record of high rates of student retention and achievement, are essential.
The salary for this post us up to £40,665
