We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational Head of Sixth Form to lead our highly successful A Levels Division and ensure the highest standards of student achievement, progression and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to manage staff, students, programmes and resources, ensuring recruitment targets are achieved whilst maintaining excellence in teaching, learning and student outcomes. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the Division, driving continuous curriculum development and quality improvement whilst contributing to the wider College vision and objectives.

Your responsibilities will include leading and managing staff through effective communication, support and performance management; overseeing student admissions, academic progress and welfare; assuring the implementation of College quality management systems; managing resources and budgets; and developing strong partnerships across the College and with external organisations. You will also contribute to College planning processes and undertake teaching duties equivalent to 8 hours per week.

The successful candidate will hold a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area together with a recognised teaching qualification. You will have extensive successful teaching experience within a college environment, proven leadership and management experience, and a strong track record of curriculum development and quality improvement. You will possess excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
