A unique opportunity has arisen to join the outstanding Burnley College A-Levels Division as a Curriculum Principal – A-Levels.
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious educational leader to help shape and deliver one of the largest and most successful A-Level provisions in the region. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, driving excellence in teaching, learning and student achievement across a range of A-Level subjects.
Working closely with the Head of A-Levels, you will lead on the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality curriculum provision, ensuring programmes remain ambitious, innovative and responsive to the evolving educational landscape. You will play a key role in developing an enriching student experience, overseeing enrichment activities, work experience opportunities and personal and professional development programmes that enhance progression to university and employment.
As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for monitoring performance through the rigorous analysis of assessment, retention and value-added data, using evidence-informed approaches to drive continuous improvement. You will provide effective leadership and line management to staff, supporting their professional growth through coaching, mentoring, appraisal and performance management processes.
The salary for this post is up to £51,130
