Burnley College students celebrate a day of success as they receive their A Level, T Level and Level 3 Vocational results.
After all the hard work and determination they’ve put in throughout coursework, exams and work placements, students arrived at college to discover their results and share special moments with family and friends.
RESULTS DAY NEWS
Principal and CEO Jason Faulkner reflected on students’ incredible achievements with pride, saying:
“The results achieved today are a testament to the hard work, determination and dedication our students have shown throughout their time at Burnley College.
“This is my first Results Day at Burnley College and it has been truly inspiring to witness so many celebrations and see the resilience, ambition and commitment of our students recognised.
“Congratulations to everyone receiving their results today. We are excited to see what the future holds for you and look forward to watching you achieve remarkable things in the years ahead.”
This significant milestone marks the moment our students secure places at their chosen universities, start higher and degree apprenticeships or begin exciting careers, taking their skills and ambitions out into the wider world.
Frida Seville-Leach achieved an incredible A*AA in English Language & Literature, Film Studies and Classical Civilisations and is heading to Durham University to read Classics:
“I’m beyond excited for university, I still can’t really believe that it’s happening!
“My tutors at Burnley College have been so supportive and encouraging, and I wouldn’t have achieved the grades I did without them.”
Maddison Pickles achieved an impressive D*D*D* in the Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts.
She shared:
“Getting to do what I love every day – acting, singing, dancing – while I’ve been at Burnley College has been amazing. I’ve made friends for life here!”
Maddison’s mum added:
“It’s been a fantastic morning, all her work has paid off and I’m extremely proud!”
Today’s results are about far more than grades. They are a testament to the hard work, dedication and potential of Burnley College students, who can now look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead as they take the next steps in their educational, professional and personal journeys.
