About the course

Within this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and you can also choose to learn about IT and data handling and contributing to the effective running of a beauty therapy business. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of a relevant Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification.

Modules

Mandatory units include:

Working in beauty related industries

Provide facial electrotherapy treatments

Provide body electrotherapy treatments

Provide body massage

Client care and communication

Monitor and maintain health and safety practice

To further enhance your practical skills, optional units may include providing massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, electrical epilation, individual permanent lashes, intimate waxing, spray tan and how to apply self-tan products, and nail enhancements.

Assessment

You will be assessed through a variety of methods, including assignments, portfolio of evidence and practical assessments

Careers & Progression

You may progress to Level 4 Advanced Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist, Level 4 Advanced Beauty Aesthetic Practitioner or Level 4 Salon Management.

Careers that this course may lead to include a range of roles including Beauty Therapist, Facial Skincare Therapist and Eyebrow & Lash Artist.
