About the course
This is an evening course every Wednesday between 26/02 - 01/04 to explore the secrets of gardens that work both aesthetically and functionally. This course will allow delegates to get the "Chelsea" look in their own gardens. This will be a classroom based course. Contents include : site surveying, developing your own client brief, the elements of garden design (colour, texture, shape, senses, space, scale, focal points) and the principles of garden design ( rhythm, movement, contrast, harmony, unit, proportion), designing with hard landscaping materials, designing with plants, styles of gardens through history and tips on how to produce a garden design on paper.
