About the course

The Qualsafe First Aid at Work course is a nationally recognised qualification, complying with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. It is suitable for employees in a workplace whose role is to be a first aider and for people who may have a specific responsibility to provide first aid as a volunteer in community activities. This level of training goes beyond the 1 day Emergency First Aid course. This qualification runs over 3 days and enables participants to develop the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations. The qualification is valid for 3 years and needs to be retaken before the certificate expires to remain qualified.

Theory assessment will be through a multiple choice question paper and practical observations throughout the course.
