About the course

Enrolling on this course will enable you to successfully support the learning and development of both Primary and Secondary school children. There will be opportunities to further develop your skills and knowledge, including your effective communication skills when working with children and young people. You will apply your knowledge about child and young persons’ development and support children who may have special educational needs and/or disabilities. You will reflect upon your own and team practice whilst working in schools and support the team’s development. An in-depth knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures and the implementation of these will be gained.
