About the course
This course is aimed at providing a foundation into basic painting and decorating skills. You do not need to have any previous experience in painting and decorating to enroll on this course, however it is also suitable for competent DIY enthusiasts who wish to enhance and formalise their decorating skills. You will be working on practical assignments to enhance your skills to a very high standard within the college workshops. This will include the following areas: Estimation of materials Selection and use of the correct hand tools and power tools Health and Safety training with site standards Learning wall paper hanging techniques.
