The opportunity to continue learning alongside the practical aspect really appealed to me as well as earning while learning the trade.
Riley chose a Themis Apprenticeship with Ainsworth’s Chartered Accountants as he wanted to learn in an environment that provided industry-ready skills.
Working closely with other team members has offered Riley a great support network which has developed his skills in teamwork, communication with clients through different methods and advanced skills in accountancy. Alongside training days in College, his leadership skills are also growing.
Riley’s work is planned and assigned to him by his directors and includes creating and keeping records up to date. He completes accounts and audits for a varied range of businesses and charities and finds it an incredibly varied role.
He plans to complete his AAT Accountancy qualifications following completion of his Apprenticeship.
