“A visual and audible spectacular” – Underground gig blows audience away

Something’s stirring underground….

Fuelled by passion, energy and raw music talent, Underground, a music gig performed and organised by Students at Burnley College has been introducing a whole new audience to some incredible new bands.

Organised by second year vocational students it was an opportunity for bands formed by first year vocational students to experience the thrill of live performance.

It was captured by second year Advanced Photography Student Harry Burfield:

It was amazing. It saw covers of songs by bands like Nirvana, The Strokes, Oasis and many more, making it one of the divisions best graded gigs to date.
The second year students had to study their assigned technical role and carry it out, preparing and embodying the role and all it entailed.

“Working together like this combined to create a visually and audibly spectacular night which everyone got to enjoy – band members, family and friends alike.”
