Duties/main responsibilties include:

The duties of the role will include:

• Working with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD or CAM
• Follow engineering drawings to manufacture parts
• Use a combination of lathes, millers, surface grinders, spark erosion, CNC machines, welding and bench work
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, slip gauges and venrniers to check tool dimensions
• Manufacture, modify, repair and maintain extrusion tooling and any other associated equipment
• The manufacture of prototype equipment and one-off tooling items
• Maintain all necessary records and undertake general housekeeping duties

Working week

Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
