Ensuring standardised work and compliance across site. There is an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Specialist Apprentice to join the Ansuka Group – BCW Engineering, at their site in Burnley, working towards the Level 3 Engineering Technician – Engineering Technical Support.

Duties/main responsibilties include:

  • Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, verifying C O C’s and rejecting/returning unacceptable materials back to vendor.
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports. (FAIRS)
  • Ability to final inspect completed tooling assemblies and components to drawings & BOM’s and reporting findings to design authority.
  • Document inspection results / reports, raise NCR reports where necessary and implement RCCA, feed these results into daily SQCDP meetings.
  • Carry out in-process quality checks.
  • Complete and take part in Internal audits to AS9100 standard.
  • Ensure all measurement equipment is calibrated and fit for purpose.
  • Dimensional controls using CMM, Laser Tracker, Faro arm and hand help measuring equipment.
