As a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide quality care to patients. Experience:
– Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
– Knowledge of patient care procedures and medical terminology is a plus
– Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
– Experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable
Entry Criteria: Applicants must have a grade 4 or above in Maths and English GCSE.

Responsibilities:
– Assist with patient care activities under the supervision of healthcare professionals
– Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and collecting patient information
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
– Assist with patient education and provide support to patients and their families
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
