There is an exciting new opportunity for 2 Medical Administrator /Care Navigator Apprentices (working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification) to join the Briercliffe Medical Centre at their site in Burnley.

Duties/main responsibilties include:

Daily duties within the role include:

• Clinical coding of confidential documents
• Arrangement of online appointments to suit the practice needs
• Daily tasks supervised by Practice Manager and senior staff members
• Direct contact with GP’s to arrange and complete insurance documents and private work
• Responsibility for all surgery post (internal and external)
• Potential for advanced secretarial roles and referral system
• Copying of patients records
• Dealing with medicine management team on a daily basis
• Monitoring of Primary Care objectives to ensure full funding allocation is met

Working week

Full time 4 days a week

8:00am – 4:00pm or 10:30am – 6:30pm
