There is an exciting opportunity for 2 Manufacturing Operative Apprentices to join the Kustom Pods team at their site in Adlington.

Skills and personal qualities required:
  • Most of the skills required will be taught to you, but somebody who is good with their hands and is not afraid to use power tools would help, and although we don’t generally use wood, most of the work we do is akin to joinery so those skill will be an advantage.
  • We also use alot of heavy materials so good physical strength would be an advantage, but you will not be expected to lift anything beyond capacity and you will also be trained in correct manual handling techniques.
  • You may not always be with the same lead engineer so good personal skills and an ability to work well with others would be an advantage.
  • As we are only a small team each indivual in the team is a vital part to what we do, we would like any new employee to be able to mix well and not be afraid to speak out, we also welcome new ideas from each member of the team and we are also willing to learn and welcome any input from the team.
