About this vacancy

The Compleat Food Group is a supplier of food since 2005, that is based in the UK. An exciting opportunity has come up for the company to expand the Human Resources team through the recruitment of a HR Administrator Apprentice. As part of the role, you will be expected to assist in the efficient operation of the Human Resources Department as well as providing general day-to-day HR Support in relation to all HR, Payroll, Learning and Development and other administration for employees.

The key responsibilities are:

  •  Provide admin support to the HR team
  •  Provide prompt and relevant support to business customers
  • Maintain accurate information
  •  Reply to correspondence as required
  •  Follow and maintain all Human Resources procedures

Duties/main responsibilties include:

The main duties in the role include:

Administration

  • Maintain all employee records accurately and efficiently
  • Listening to the absence line and sending out notification to Line
    Managers
  •  Tracking the completion of Return to Work interviews
  •  Inputting data into the staff databases including new starters’
    details, leavers, absence, holiday and appraisal information
  •  Enrolling employees into the Medicash benefit scheme
  •  Filing, photocopying, shredding, dealing with the incoming and
    outgoing post, and other general admin functions
  •  Producing letters and other HR related correspondence
  •  Assist in maintenance of all systems, both computerised and
    paper based
  •  Reply to correspondence
  •  Set up and take minutes of meetings

HR Business Support

  •  Producing daily absence KPIs by 10am
  • Coordinating the ‘Weekly Update’ newsletter
  •  Assist with starters paperwork queries, checking paperwork to
    ensure that starters meet legal requirements and policy
    requirements and that all documentation is present and
    completed

Working week

The normal working week is 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
