About this vacancy

We are looking to recruit a number of apprentice Fabricator/Welders to join Altham Fabrications. Altham fabrications specialise in the manufacture of large scale washer and dryer equipment primarily associated with the food and beverage industry. Our products are supplied worldwide.

We are situated in a brand new facility, but have been in business for 6 years, during this time we have achieved year on year growth with a good track record in supporting apprentices on their journey to achieve skilled status.

We are looking for:

• 8 x Plate Welders
• 2 x Metal Fabricators
• 1 x CNC Machinist
• 1 x Fitter

Duties/main responsibilties include:

Each apprentice will learn how to fabricate and weld a variety of stainless and mild steel sheet, plate, section, channel and angle to produce high quality equipment.

Working week

Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:15
