Duties/main responsibilties include:

The below job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position It is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, qualifications, or working conditions associated with the role.

Main duties:

  • To undertake reception duties,
  • Provide administrative support to Pupil Services,
  • Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries efficiently and in a professional and supportive manner. Where appropriate referring more complex matters to the appropriate member of staff,
  • Initial point of contact for parents, carers, visitors and other stakeholders,
  • Manage stock and stationery ordering,
  • Assist with financial duties as required,
  • Undertake communication with parents via school text/email messaging service,
  • Managing emails and correspondence effectively and professionally,
  • Assist with organising parents’ evenings, events and meetings and to direct parents/carers during parents’ evening and other events,
  • Providing refreshments as required,
  • Assisting with the accurate input and upkeep of electronic records, including pupils’ data on our MIS system (Arbor),
  • Spend time with other support staff roles on a carousel (Administration, Exams and Operations),
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post,
  • Ensure all work is completed within expected timescales,
  • Participate in all aspects of training and development.

Working week

Monday to Friday: 08:30 am – 16:00 pm
