About this vacancy

Process Instruments (UK) Ltd is a global supplier of water analyser
instrument solutions since 1998. With offices, a laboratory and manufacturing facilities in the UK,
subsidiaries in Ireland and France and a company representative in China. An exciting opportunity has come for the company to expand through the recruitment of a Business Administration Apprentice.

Within your role, you will be expected to:

  •  Greet and sign in visitors to the building, making them aware of fire evacuation and health
    and safety procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning and organisation of the reception, board room and meeting rooms.
  •  Answer all calls and direct to the relevant person, or take clear contact details and messages
    to pass on – in line with the documented procedure.
  •  Assist with the organisation of company events and social events.
  •  Assist with administration in various departments such as marketing campaigns, HR policies
    and procedures and company post.

Duties/main responsibilties include:

Within the role of a Business Administration Apprentice, your duties will include:

  •  Order uniform for all staff and authorise the corresponding invoices.
  •  Arrange necessary travel details including accommodation and flights for directors of the
    business to attend events.
  •  Any ad-hoc work as required by the business that may include, but is not limited to,
    reporting, auditing, stock takes, photocopying, filing, and any other tasks as required.
  •  Engage and comply with the company on all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and
    Environmental requirements for both yourself and others.
  •  Behave in a way that is consistent with the company values, and to follow all company
    policies and procedures.
  •  Liaise with all departments across the business to ensure efficiency.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as
necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the
organisation.

Working week

The normal working week is 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
