THE PROCESS

Take the first step in your new career

Wherever you see yourself in the future, your journey starts here. Step one is to contact Burnley College. Our exceptional Student Services team can guide you through the jargon and make sure you’re on the right path to success.

Then it can be as simple as 1, 2, 3…

BECOME A TEACHER

1. The Basics

To teach you’ll need excellent Maths and English, so if you need your GCSEs, we’ll help you get them.

2. The next step

You could study for an Early Years Practitioner Certificate, building up your experience with study and on a specially selected work placement.

3. University and Beyond

Now it’s time to specialise or expand. The variety of careers available is only limited by your passion to learn more.

Education truly has the power to change people’s lives. It’s changed mine and now I’m helping others. It’s never too late to make a change.
