Local Engineering Apprentice Courteney Leech is calling for more women to train within engineering after securing a challenging Apprenticeship at a local aerospace company. Burnley College and Themis are collaborating with local employers to expand the Centre of Engineering Excellence. Burnley College Sixth Form Centre recently hosted the first North West Aerospace Alliance University Challenge; a competition focused on recognising new talent in the aerospace industry.
