Kristian's dedication recognised at graduation ceremony in Burnley

Engineer Kristian Tuff's commitment and determination to play a key role in his employer's success story earned him a special award at the 2018 graduation ceremony for students completing university courses in Burnley.

Kristian, from Burnley, a former pupil at Shuttleworth College, Padiham, was presented with the  prestigious Employee Project Award at the graduation ceremony hosted at Burnley Mechanics, in front of leading academics, civic leaders, fellow undergraduates, family and friends.

The award was presented in recognition of a project that has had the most impactful contribution to a business.

As part of his HNC studies and supported by his industry-expert Lecturers, Advanced Mechanical Engineering Apprentice Kristian developed an innovative training programme that was put into place by his employers Safran Nacelles.

Ambitious Kristian is already making a huge impact at Safran Nacelles, and has also been awarded a company award for his innovative training scheme, which he has devised and implemented alongside a team of senior managers.

A future leader, Kristian’s training model will have wide-reaching impact across the globe and is breaking the mould due to its innovative delivery methods and progressive content.
