The popular festival, was back for its third year, offering an exciting range of live experiments, hands-on activities and fun games to appeal to young and old alike, with experts on hand to explain the science behind the fun.

Among the many unusual attractions and fun-packed activities on the day were:

  • Titan the Robot
  • Create and launch your own rocket
  • Make your own slime
  • Masterclass in how to make artificial blood
  • Bath bomb workshop
  • Drone flying
  • Virtual Reality experiences
  • Velcro wall
  • Bouncy castle
  • Food and drink available all day

Simon Jordan, Deputy Principal of Burnley College, said:

Once again, it proved to be a hugely popular community event and the perfect opportunity for families to discover more about Science and Technology from our expert staff who are passionate about these subjects."
