Holly (28), picked up the honour after being judged top in the UK by a panel of exercise professionals at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. The award recognises her outstanding work making exercise accessible for a wide variety of people, from different backgrounds and abilities, including the excellent work she does with local schools, running after-schools clubs and giving teachers the additional skills they need to teach sport and PE.
Holly said: "It's a great honour to be recognised and receive this award. I love the impact my role can have on the lives of people - from introducing gentle activity to those who may never have done exercise before to high intesity routines which suit those working hard to improve their strength and stamina.
"I like to keep the classes we run at Fitness Evolution fresh and contemporary, so we can keep up with the very latest trends, and always listen to what our customers want."
Holly, who is studying for a Masters degree in Sport Exercise Science, formerly worked for Pendle Leisure Trust and is a leading trainer nationally for fitness professionals.
