Our specialist ESOL tutor Bibi UlHaq joined Susan Connor, who leads our ESOL courses for those who don't have English as their first language, on Pendle Community Radio this week.
She talked about the many advantages of improving your English, from being more confident in social settings and filling in forms, to getting a promotion at work and developing your career.
Bibi said: "We can help you whatever your standard of English and however long you have been in the UK - it's never too late to learn and see the benefits in your reading, writing, listening and speaking. The ESOL courses are run in the evenings and during the day, so there's sure to be a course that suits you, plus you'll be in a class with people on the same ability level and the classes can be free for many people, depending on their circumstances .
"On the radio, we also talked about the help we can give residents who are taking the Life in the UK test as part of their application for British Citizenship. We've a course starting soon, so it's an ideal time to get in touch with us and take that first step towards becoming a British Citizen with our expert guidance."
