According to new figures from the UK Government, the Creative Industry is now worth a huge £8.8 million an hour to the UK economy.
Thanks to 10% growth
in the industry in 2013 and a continued rate of expansion for most of the Creative sector, a huge number of jobs are being created every year just ready for your skills and enthusiasm.
In 2013, 1.31 million jobs
in the UK were based in the Creative Industries, accounting for 5% GVA (Gross Value Added - a measure in economics of the value of goods and services produced in an area, industry or sector of an economy) of the entire economy.
But what does this mean for Apprentices in the UK?
Employment in the Creative Industry has increased by 5%
since 2011, with roles such as product design, graphic design and fashion design employing the most people.
It's predicted that the UK will be a leading exporter across all areas of creative services and products by 2025, which means there has never been a better time to get your foot in the door!
