Providing outstanding support for our students is top of our priority list.

All Burnley College Sixth Form Centre students are offered the support they need throughout their courses to make sure they achieve the very best grades and move on to the University courses and careers that they want. Support for our students comes in many forms: Extra-curricular programmes: the Ambassador Scheme and Student Council to help nurture your inter-personal skills and help to build confidence and real workplace skills. The Elite Athlete programme: students who are passionate about their already flourishing sporting careers can continue their outstanding progress in their studies with rigorous strength and conditioning training and personalised development plans. Our Honours Programme: high achieving students who wish to progress still further can build their skills in dissertation writing, research and extra-curricular activities and residential trips that help to secure their places in the UK’s top Russell Group universities.
