Visit our Full College Open Event to discover what Burnley College Sixth Form Centre, Themis and UCLan Burnley are all about

Whether you’re thinking of progressing onto A Levels, an Advanced Vocational Course or an Apprenticeship, or interested in our Adult or University programmes, attending our Full College Open Event on Wednesday 30 September will help you make the right decision. Visiting on the night, from 5.30pm – 8.30pm, you’ll be able to learn more about our student’s outstanding achievements and start your own Burnley College Experience. Burnley College Throughout the evening, you’ll be able to meet our outstanding tutors and current students to talk about the courses that interest you, as well as the experiences you will have at College. You’ll be able to take a tour around the College campus too which we fully recommend, giving you the chance to see all of our state of the art facilities such as the Centre of Engineering Excellence, the Science Hub, the Construction and Future Technologies Centre and the Human Performance Centre. Representatives from our student-run extra-curricular clubs and societies will be available to chat to about all the enrichment opportunities available to you as a student and Ambassadors will be on hand to discuss the extra pursuits you can take part in to improve your experience still further and ready you for progression on to the top universities in the UK. Members of the Student Services team will also be available to talk to about the outstanding support we offer to all of our students, both academically and personally. There will also be a welcome to Burnley College talk by our Principal Hugh Bramwell as well as a careers planning talk by our schools liaison team. If hands-on experience and gaining nationally recognised qualifications is how you want to progress after school, come to our Full College Open Event on Wednesday 30 September to find out about the employers and trainers we work with to provide the best possible start to your ideal career. Themis works directly with Apprentices and employers to provide a seamless working relationship between you and your employers. The team can help you apply for Apprenticeship jobs as well as find your ideal programme to suit your abilities and future career aspirations, so even if you’re not sure about where you want to go next, speaking to them is a great first step.
