Themis at Burnley College Launches New Adult Care Programmes for 2020

Covid-19 has shone a necessary spotlight on the everyday heroes who help improve and safeguard our lives, the lives of our loved ones, and the futures of the next generations. From passionate teachers to diligent public transport workers, selfless NHS staff and compassionate carers among all manner of key workers; these heroes represent the best in all of us, which is why we believe they deserve the training and opportunities to excel in their chosen vocation.

At Themis at Burnley College, we understand to work in care is to make a positive difference to someone’s life, whether it be through physical, emotional, or practical support. It’s important that our Adult Care Workers have the right values and behaviours, developing competences and skills to provide high quality, compassionate care and support. We recognise the importance of training and meeting industry standards.
