Paradigm Precision teach Lean Manufacturing to Burnley College students

From 8am - 2pm on Wednesday 28 January Paradigm Precision visited with six of their staff to tutor the Career Academy group about Lean Manufacturing.

Paradigm Precision A growing concern in all manufacturing and engineering businesses, Lean Manufacturing concerns streamlining the manufacturing process at each level to increase productivity and reduce waste and production times. This is the fourth year that Paradigm Precision have visited Burnley College to speak to students and this year the Career Academy Group were also joined by Level 3 IT students covering their Business Systems module making it the largest ever group of students and Apprentices to attend the event. As well as explaining the important roles within a manufacturing production line and the wider business, Paradigm Precision created hands-on activities to recreate systems operations within the brand new CadCam suite in the Centre of Engineering Excellence.
