Fisher More High School students explore College's outstanding music facilities

posted on

A group of talented young music students from Fisher More High School, Colne, visited Burnley College Sixth Form Centre to make use of its outstanding music facilities as part of their studies.

The group of 14 students wanted to see a professional recording studio in action and College Music Tutor Karl Eden was pleased to welcome them to College to view the facilities that A Level and Advanced Level Music students use during the practical elements of their courses.

During a packed morning of activities, the Colne students set up one of the College's recording studios, set up a drum kit for sound recording and recorded the drum sequence for a song.

Students and teachers from Fisher More said they found the visit to College both fun and beneficial and are planning to return in the next academic year.
