A Levels
The course subjects chosen by Tom came with a variety of extra-curricular activities and opportunities for him to enjoy and take advantage of, one of which being given the chance of completing an EPQ and completing the UKCAT exam to boost his application to University. Being a part of the Honours Society has also given him the confidence and opened up pathways which he never though he would encounter. External trips included a visit to Manchester University for an insightful talk on genetics which is something he was keen to explore further. Furthermore, Tom took up the chance to carry out a medical placement at Pendleside Hospice, giving him the insight into the medical profession and care.
