Music
While on her Music course, Lissy performed in the theatre every term and had the opportunity to visit and perform at The Grande in Clitheroe, at College Open Events and Award Events which she enjoyed very much. “Being part of a band, it was an amazing opportunity to perform on a larger scale than what we’re used to!” Lissy also has been on trips to the British Music Experience in Liverpool, AMS Neve Factory and Showroom and had visiting speakers including Joe Clegg (Ellie Goulding’s musical director), Angela Chan (violinist with Placebo) and Vocal Coach Emma Williams. She was able to record an EP and continue to perform at gigs with the knowledge and confidence she gained through her time at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre.
