Lives depend on me – I’m part of a key team of professionals in the NHS.

The Pharmacy sector was one of interest to Katie for a long time. Having access to the many areas of specialisation such as customer service, dealing with patients, dispensing, working with medical teams on wards, stock control and administration allowed her to explore the career she wanted to pursue.

She is passionate about working for the NHS and really making a difference to the lives of others. Katie wishes to develop her career in the NHS and progress up the managerial ladder, gaining qualifications along the way.

“I was really keen to start my career and get some experience in the workplace – plus I wanted to gain some independence by earning my own salary.”
