Student case study

Isabelle is a passionate and dedicated student who has always dreamed of using her skills, particularly in debating and public speaking, to become a barrister.

She is now on course to achieve her ambitions after receiving A* in her three A Levels and taking up an offer to read law at the University of York.

Isabelle was a very active member of the Burnley College family, taking part in many different extra-curricular activities including the popular Debating Society, where she and fellow A Level student Megan Lucas were  placed second in the prestigious national competition “Debating Matters.”

She also represented her peers as a Student Ambassador and was a popular member of the College’s Model United Nations.
