Everyone helps me with any questions I have and does everything they can to ensure I have all the information I need to carry out my work.
Aaron – a Themis Advanced Business Administration Apprentice – thrives in a busy sales environment with his employer FloControl Ltd, Burnley.
His role is varied and includes processing sales orders, issuing quotes, dealing with enquiries, managing shipping, product selections for customers and coordination with the workshop. They’re vital skills he’ll need in his ultimate career goal of running his own successful business.
Aaron is a former pupil of Unity College, leaving with nine goof GCSEs, before starting his Themis Apprenticeship, attending College once every two weeks for a day’s training and working with a Trainer Assessor in the workplace once a month.
He chose an Apprenticeship route as he enjoys learning while completing tasks.
The best thing about my Apprenticeship is being at the heart of a massive industry with lots of interesting work. I’m not treated as a trainee, I was given a job in sales which is always busy and am dealing with customers, suppliers and logistics companies daily, playing a big role in the company.
Everyone helps me with any questions I have and does everything they can to ensure I have all the information I need to carry out my work.
